Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Civil, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ Skills Required: Structural Designing
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Auto CAD 2D 3D, Proficient in MS Office Applications
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and manage water & sanitation projects ensuring safely managed sanitation is met.
∎ Develop the design of WASH infrastructure and drainage system in Auto CAD (2D & 3D) focusing on the people with special needs.
∎ Knowledge on architectural, structural, sanitary, plumbing, drainage, sludge management and electrical drawing (sketch and layouts) considering urban slum area.
∎ Having sound understanding and knowledge on climate change resilience and impact of salinity during design of WASH construction and drainage facilities
∎ Knowledge of preparing and reviewing the budget estimate and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) as per budget of the project.
∎ Oversee overall management and supervision of constructions works of the project as per budget estimate and design considering climate change resilience.
∎ Keeping proper liaison and collaboration with relevant wash stakeholders and Barishal City Corporation.
∎ Ensure quality implementation, including adherence to technical guidelines and meet deadlines.
∎ Coordinate direct construction workers and deal with contractor to meet the design of the WASH facilities.
∎ Conducting needs technical survey of infrastructural projects, water facilities in household latrines or other activities.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly monthly performance and progress reports, action plan and other reports related to construction facilities and submit these to the line manager.
∎ Additional duties may be assigned by AVAS Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ Profound knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and urban development policies.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software for assessment, water, sanitation relevant infrastructure planning, design, monitoring, and management.
∎ Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients.
∎ Commitment to sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions in urban WASH infrastructure development.

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 27500 (Monthly)
