Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration - 15 May 2021.

∎ On behalf of the ISCG/ WASH Sector lead - Action Against Hunger, and in collaboration with the DPHE and other partners, WASH Sector Manager - Information Management will provide leadership and facilitate the processes that will ensure a well-coordinated, coherent, strategic, and effective WASH response.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Information Management:
∎ Maintain updated contact information of all/ most relevant humanitarian WASH partners and stakeholders as well relevant partners from other sectors and coordination platforms.
∎ Maintain a document repository of all sector related information, standards, documents, etc. including key datasets from other sectors.
∎ Maintain the sector website, ensuring essential content is up-to-date and key WASH partners and stakeholders have timely and easy access to WASH sector information.
∎ Support humanitarian WASH partners and stakeholders to allow consistency and comparability on their needs assessments and analysis through the development, and/ or adaptation of existing IM tools, this includes sectoral, inter-sectoral, etc. tools.
∎ Liaise and provide technical support to relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate design, process and use of IM tools as well as the reporting data.
∎ Support the assessment capacities among humanitarian WASH partners and stakeholders by identifying needs and developing capacity building plans to overcome the identified gaps.
∎ Objective 2: Reporting and Monitoring:
∎ Ensure periodic and consistent, collection and storage of data from WASH partners and stakeholders in a manner that allows comparability and compatibility, and is available for regular and ad-hoc analyses to support decision making.
∎ Support the coordination team is key strategic planning processes and response plan revision phases through the appropriate selection/ revision of SMART core indicators as well as through the refinement of the WASH sector response monitoring framework.
∎ Compile and keep up-to-date information on humanitarian WASH partners and stakeholders, their capacities and interventions (including on 4W reporting Who, What, Where and When), as well as support the identification of needs and gaps through the evaluation and analysis across multiple datasets.
∎ Ensure the timely and regular dissemination of information, through products and communication channels tailored to the needs and usages of different audiences, including operational humanitarian WASH partners and stakeholders, other sectors, donors and civil society.
∎ Anticipate information needs and suggest appropriate tools or products to meet the needs of the WASH sector, Site Focal points and operational humanitarian WASH partners and other stakeholders.
∎ Objective 3: Knowledge Management:
∎ Contribute to build capacities among governmental, other national or local partners and stakeholders as per issue related to information management and assessments.
∎ Manage WASH sector historical knowledge (training, innovation, studies, standards & guidelines...).
∎ Maintain a document repository of all sector related information, standards, documents, etc. using Google Drive/Cloud
∎ Maintain the sector website, ensuring essential content is up-to-date and key WASH partners and stakeholders have timely and easy access to WASH sector information.
∎ Compile and keep up-to-date information on humanitarian WASH partners
∎ Anticipate information needs and suggest appropriate tools or products to meet the needs of the WASH sector
∎ Objective 4: WASH sector team Support:
∎ Update contact Lists of the WASH sector (WASH Sec, managers, CFP, Health Sector)
∎ Lead communication (emails) on behalf of the sector
∎ Support the coordination team with Logistic /admin / HR priorities
∎ External communication: Brochure / advocacy note
∎ Design (if required) according to competencies of the candidate.
∎ Contribute to build capacities among partners
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience with Kobo, Tablo and mobile data collection an asset.
∎ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and Tableaue a plus.
∎ Experience in conceiving and developing information systems and tools to respond to a variety of requirements.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar)
Salary: Tk. 131000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Basic salary twice every year
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary
