Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: 30 September 2023
∎ Start Date: ASAP
∎ Define the content analyze the situation and its impact analysis in the WASH programme, by monitoring evaluation, accountability, learning and reporting initiatives at camp level.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Collection of Information and Data Gathering
∎ Identify the eligible people in the household/tented settlement for the interviews/questionnaires
∎ Collect the program implementation data and share with the line management and relevant staff.
∎ Inform the families on the scope and objectives of the assessment
∎ Conduct interviews at different levels (household, ITS, etc...) in person or remotely (telephone call)
∎ Apply and manage different questionnaires/data collection tools (questionnaires, KAP surveys, etc...) depending on the case
∎ Compile indirect information and triangulate the provided data through direct observation, alternative questions and alternative informants (neighbours, relatives)
∎ Input the primary/secondary information, the collected data and any other remarks/observation systematically through an android tablet/device or via questionnaire hard copies
∎ Review the whole information to ensure quality of the data provided, completeness of the assessment tools and avoid further visits/calls to complement the information
∎ Control the timing predefined for the assessment session.
∎ Objective 2: Regular monitoring of the programme and analysis the situation
∎ Cross check information with field-level sources of information (data verification)
∎ Conducting field verification of different project beneficiaries
∎ Observe different cash distribution, FI/NFI item distribution using appropriate tools
∎ Alert ACF staff of any issue/change or threat that might be detected during the field visits
∎ Objective 3: Conduct and support focus group discussions
∎ Support the Reporting & Monitoring (R&M) Manager in conducting focus groups discussions as requested (from note taking to directly conducting focus groups discussion if delegated by the R&M Manager)
∎ Conduct the preparation of focus groups discussion (calling participants, refreshments, booking/requesting rooms, permits, etc.)
∎ Conduct the PDM and analysis the data.
∎ Lead the CFRM in the WASH programme
∎ Objective 4: Reporting
∎ Report continuously the progress of the activities and assessments to his/her line manager.
∎ Report weekly on all the activities related to assessment and data collection
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly report as per programme needs
∎ Regular oral reporting, debriefing and feedback to the Reporting & Monitoring, MEAL Coordinator. (Where necessary)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in managing data collection through Android device
∎ Good understanding and knowledge on WASH core indicator.
∎ Experience in conducting KAP survey, PHAST, PRA, RRA
∎ Ability to understand overall MEAL system
∎ Skilled in working with MS Word, Excel, ArcGIS/QGIS (added value), SPSS etc.
∎ Knowledge on qualitative and quantitative research tools.
∎ Experience in Photoshop and Illustrator software and related software
∎ Experience in SPHINX, KoBo, ODK or related software will be added value
∎ Communication skills to interact with refugees and vulnerable population
∎ Ability to communicate with different stakeholders
∎ Previous experience working with NGO/development organization especially in the WASH intervention.
∎ Good in English (written and verbal)
∎ Good knowledge on gender, age and person with disabilities inclusion.
∎ Understanding complain response and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) approach
∎ Team management, organizational capacity and activity planning - Ability to analyze and synthesize - Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills
Salary: Tk. 58470 (Monthly)
