Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should have a Masters degree from any public or private university (preferably in Civil/Environmental engineering, URP or social science department).
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and manage Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activities at the field level, including financial and human resources, in collaboration with other organization of related sectors.
∎ Support the field in carrying out selection, design, and construction of appropriate water and sanitation systems including: Water treatment, fecal sludge management (FSM), solid waste management, construction of WATSAN facilities etc.
∎ Integrate public health concepts into water, sanitation and hygiene activities and ensure close collaboration with health and other sectors, including hygiene promotion and community mobilization.
∎ Ensure that the project engages local stakeholders and develop local capacity for longer-term sustainability.
∎ Contribute to preparing plans, proposals and budgets for new projects.
∎ Visit field sites on a regular basis to monitor and support field teams.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Technical and practical competence in WASH including experience in waste management, hygiene promotion programs and related activities.
∎ Excellent knowledge of WASH project management with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in NGOs/development sector.
∎ Excellent knowledge and use of the internet, Microsoft packages and other skills.
∎ Excellent written and oral English language skills
∎ Structured well organized and self-driven
∎ Excellent communication cooperation and interpersonal skills
∎ Person of good character and integrity, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as coordinator of a team.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Negotiable for highly experienced candidate.
