Service & Guest Interaction:

  • Overseeing Service:

    Ensuring servers follow proper service techniques and deliver food and beverages with enthusiasm. 

  • Managing Orders:

    Taking orders, communicating with the kitchen about menu items, special requests, and potential delays. 

  • Maintaining Standards:

    Ensuring tables are set correctly, clearing and collecting items, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. 

  • Handling Guest Concerns:

    Addressing complaints or concerns from guests professionally and finding solutions to ensure a positive dining experience. 

  • Explaining Menu:

    Providing detailed knowledge of food and beverage items, including any dietary restrictions or allergies. 

  • Facilitating Payment:

    Presenting bills accurately and processing payments. 

Supervision & Training:

  • Training Servers:

    Educating servers on service standards, menu knowledge, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

  • Supervising Staff:

    Overseeing the flow of service, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Team Communication:

    Communicating with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the dining area and work stations are clean and organized. 

  • Inventory Management: Ensuring sufficient supplies of linens, silverware, and other service items. 

  • Assisting with Setup: Helping with room setup for events, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

  • Adhering to Standards: Ensuring all hotel brand standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed. 

  • Cash Handling: May be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions.
