• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

• The VMware Core: You must have deep, "under the hood" knowledge of vSphere 7.x/8.x, ESXi, and vCenter. If you’ve built VCF environments from scratch, you're exactly who we're looking for.

• Networking Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with NSX is non-negotiable. You should be comfortable discussing overlay networks, T0/T1 gateways, and distributed firewalls.

• Cloud-Native Tools: Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and experience managing Tanzu or similar container platforms.

• The Scripting Mindset: You don’t need to be a software developer, but you should be proficient in PowerShell/PowerCLI, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks.

• Modern Tooling: Familiarity with YAML, Git/GitLab, and Terraform for managing infrastructure state.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or Engineering is expected, backed by at least 5 years of "in the trenches" virtualization experience.

Active VMware certifications (we highly value VCAP).Experience stretching local workloads into public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).A background in enterprise storage (vSAN) and high-level networking protocols.

• VCF Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) ecosystem, from initial design and greenfield deployments to ongoing lifecycle management.

• Network & Security Orchestration: Act as the subject matter expert for NSX including vDefend, handling everything from basic switching/routing to complex micro-segmentation and security policy enforcement.

• Infrastructure Automation: Transition away from manual tasks by implementing automation workflows via Aria Automation (formerly vRA) and leveraging Aria Operations for predictive capacity planning.

• Kubernetes Operations: Deploy and maintain production-grade Tanzu (TKG) clusters, ensuring that our developers have a stable environment for containerized applications.

• Performance & Resilience: Tackle high-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex outages. You’ll also manage the backup, patching, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure 24/7 availability.

• DevOps Experiences: Good to have DevSecOps skills, preferably on Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Sysdig, Falco, Keycloak.
