Educational Requirements:
∎ Completion of S.S.C/H.S.C education leading to a Diploma in a mechanical Trade.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function.
∎ Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, Non return valves, etc.
∎ Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at BOGCL locations.
∎ Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
∎ Communicate timely updates to management, Co-workers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
∎ Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OHSMS and other safety regulations.
∎ Prepares required work permit(s) and liaises with operations to release equipment.
∎ Inspects equipment to determine extent of repairs required.
∎ Prepares requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores.
∎ Tests to ensure operability and reports activities to supervisor/engineer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3~5years working experience as a mechanical maintenance technician oil/gas/powerplant /fertilizer or related industry.
∎ Familiar with tools and machinery required to perform daily valve repair duties.
∎ Experience with repairing various valves and actuators, whether pneumatic, hydraulic or electric.
∎ Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Engineer.
