Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration:40 working days
∎ Contract Type: Contract with E-Zone
∎ Reporting to: Nutrition Sector Coordinator : Technical Supervisor of the assignment
∎ Purpose:To update an integrated comprehensive N ut r it ion strategy document.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in developing nutrition strategies(Nutrition cluster, national nutrition sector plan, nutrition in emergency)
∎ Proven and sound knowledge/experience of the cluster approach, OCHA and IASC mechanisms,development of humanitarian response plan (Nutrition in Emergency component)
∎ Experience in conducting situation analysis for nutrition in emergencies, nutrition in refugeesettings, nutrition in natural disaster-prone areas, or similar contexts
∎ Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency/refugee context
∎ Ability to work with multi-stakeholders and affected populations.
∎ Demonstrated research, analytical, and report writing skills.
∎ Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively and persuasively present information ina variety of settings and formats.
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Experience working with UN organizations, NGOs and/or Governments, especially the
∎ Ministry ofHealth and/or Ministry of Relief (or similar)
∎ Flexible nature and ability to adapt to changing directions/thinking that may occur during theconsultative workshops.
∎ Fluency in English is required.
