Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Post graduate degree in Public Health/ Social Sciences/ Development Studies/ Psychology/ Social Work or other relevant fields
∎ Skills Required: Computer skill, Excellent communication skill, Ride Motorcycle with valid licence
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Advocacy and lobby with l, Experience on Capacity building, Networking
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General Management:
∎ Ensure high-quality project activity implementation and further development of practice of Targeted Vision Centers, base hospital, community clinics in the working area and private service providers including inclusivity for persons with disability and vulnerable community.
∎ Support OPDs in awareness raising activities, organize outreach screening camps at working areas and schools.
∎ Take effective initiatives to function the local level committees relating with the eye health services in government structure.
∎ Ensure skill and organizational development of selected Organization of Person with Disability (OPDs).
∎ Comply all policy procedures and laws in the project implementation, financial management.
∎ Regular visit, communication and rapport build with Different stakeholders like Local Administration, Health Department, Social Welfare Department, Likeminded organizations and local influential persons.
∎ Keep a watchful eye on all preventive measures to protect Child Abuse, Gender Violence, SEA&H and violation of safeguarding issues according to the policy procedures.
∎ Effectively manage project resources and facilitate the strengthening of program management capacities across the team.
∎ Provide support and cooperative attitude with district team.
∎ Minimize risk of achieving project objectives and take necessary actions consulting with district team.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the organization and donor agency.
∎ Implementing Project Activities:
∎ Develop monthly action plan.
∎ Organize and facilitate all project activities in local level.
∎ Establish good relationship with OPDs, Community clinic and vision centers staff and management.
∎ Attend Upazilla administration coordination meetings.
∎ Select and ensure proper participants for various activities.
∎ Attend regular project coordination meetings and skill development initiatives.
∎ Collect data and pictures/ videos of progress according to the monitoring and documentation officer requirement to develop communication materials.
∎ Assess risks and take preventive measures before implement any activities.
∎ Financial Management & Reporting:
∎ Comply with financial management policy during implementing activities in Upazilla.
∎ Assist and provide support internal and external auditors as well as monitoring team.
∎ Provide supporting documents as per requirement of Finance/accounts person after completion of activity.
∎ OPD Development and engagement.
∎ Establishing good relation with CEO and staff members Organization of Person with Disability (OPD)s.
∎ Enforce and develop capacity of OPDs regarding advocacy- lobby, Inclusiveness, financial management, networking, disability and gender responsiveness and inclusive development.
∎ Diagnose OPDs growth and engagement with government structure & provide direction and requires assistance to achieve project objectives.
∎ Coordination and Representation:
∎ Coordination with Local Administration, Health Department, Local government authorities.
∎ Rapport building and coordination with local Eye health service providers.
∎ Regular communication with the authority, Committee members and staff of Community Clinics, Vision Centers and Base Hospital.
∎ Promote improved understanding and awareness on quality eye health service among all relevant stakeholders, including government officials.

∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
∎ Festival Bonus (paid at pro-rata basis during religious festival and Yearly/ final payment)
Travel and Transportation for project activity will be paid as per organization policy and project Budget.
Yearly Increment will be given based on the results of performance appraisal.
