∎ Masters
∎ Master Degree in any discipline.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years’ working experience in the relevant field (legal aid/access to justice).
∎ Knowledge and experience on anticipatory action, Legal Aid Services Act 2000 and Access to Justice.
∎ Demonstrate very strong leadership and management skills and ability to work in the team.
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies.
∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken English.
∎ Excellent report writing and presentation skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability in using MS-Office, Social Media and relevant electronic devices for project implementation.·
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Working knowledge in any CHT language is an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the effective implementation of project at the upazila level. Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget;·
∎ Organize awareness campaigns (courtyard, miking, public hearing, legal literacy campaigns) community meetings, orientation of legal aid services act 2000 and legal literacy programs as to educate the local population about their legal rights and available services of legal aid institutions;·
∎ Identify legal aid cases in the community, assess their eligibility, and facilitate access to appropriate legal services or representation;·
∎ Functional the local legal aid committees as UPLAC, UZLAC and DLAC;·
∎ Build and maintain relationships with local government, legal service providers (UPLAC, UZLAC), community leaders, Headman, Karbari, and civil society organizations to enhance service delivery and support;·
∎ Regularly monitor project activities, collect data, and prepare detailed reports on the progress and challenges faced in;·
∎ Conduct or coordinate training sessions for community paralegals, volunteers, and other stakeholders on legal aid, human rights, and access to justice;·
∎ Liaison with legal aid service providers to ensure timely support and follow-up for cases requiring legal intervention;·
∎ Collaborate with local government, law enforcement, judiciary, UZLAC, UPLAC, Legal NGO and community organizations to strengthen legal aid systems. Establish strong networks for advocacy and project support;·
∎ Manage the subdistrict-level budget, optimize the use of available resources, and identify opportunities for additional funding and resources;·
∎ Ensure that the project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor and the organization;·
∎ Maintain child and gender-sensitive approach in all stages and maintain safeguarding measure
∎ Any other task assigned by the AAS Management.

In the course of time, the working scope of the organization extended on basic education, WASH, health education, environmental conservation of ecological balance & bio-diversity, promoting indigenous culture, language & heritage and on the pillar of sustainable development.
