Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess and study the saving culture of selected / targeted communities and present findings to Management.
∎ Recommend and Evaluate the relevance and sustainability of strategies selected to expand saving schemes.
∎ Contribute to institutional cultural change to a savings led institution.
∎ Develop and submit future deposit mobilization and branch operation management Plan
∎ Ensure the proper implementation of saving policies and procedures of the FMFI.
∎ Ensure that efficient integration of the department with the IS process and other work units is maintained to support branches provide efficient IT led services.
∎ Develop standards to be met by branches in mobilizing savings and rendering customer services.
∎ Ensures that savings targets are achieved as per strategy of the Institution.
∎ Develop performance evaluation standards of team members to create sense of competition among the team and to reward the best performing ones.
∎ Develops guidelines for the selection of Agent - Banks and operational modalities to be adhered to in the course of operation.
∎ Ensures that the products meet the demands of the clients in a way that brings savings growth.
∎ Identifies potential new business opportunities and consistently generate.
∎ Coordinates with the marketing team for the planning and initiation of promotional measures.
∎ Ensures that deposit mobilization policies and procedures are applied consistently.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Must have experience in a combination of the following: micro-enterprise lending organization, banking institution, a progressive corporate environment, international business, or economic and business development institution
∎ Must have a clear understanding of industry and technology and financial institution
∎ Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
∎ Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity.
∎ Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values
∎ Good knowledge in economic and financial topics
