Deposit, Liability Sales
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be part of the sales team of Deposit Mobilization Department
∎ Lead a Sales Team
∎ Assess and study the saving culture of selected / targeted communities and present findings to Management.
∎ Recommend and evaluate the relevance and sustainability of strategies selected to expand saving schemes.
∎ Contribute to institutional cultural change to a savings led institution.
∎ Develop and submit future deposit mobilization and branch operation management Plan
∎ Ensure the proper implementation of saving policies and procedures.
∎ Develop standards to be met by branches in mobilizing savings and rendering customer services.
∎ Ensure that savings targets are achieved as per strategy of the Institution and lead a faster career progression.
∎ Develop performance evaluation standards of team members to create sense of competition among the team and to reward the best performing ones.
∎ Identifies potential new business opportunities and consistently generate.
∎ Coordinates with the marketing team for the planning and initiation of promotional measures.
∎ Ensures that deposit mobilization policies and procedures are applied consistently.
∎ Achieve monthly and yearly deposit target and portfolio growth.
∎ Resolve team Deposit audit/compliance issues, integrity issues and disciplinary issues.
∎ Ensure retention of mature encashment and reduction of premature encashment.
∎ Check and submit deposit form to operation department and ensure correction of information in the form from team.
∎ Submit Daily Visit Plan and Monthly business projection.
∎ Contribute to the development of innovative savings products in line with customer needs
∎ Create and enhance new methods for rewarding depositors with interest on ordinary and fixed deposits.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Strong communication and presenting skills
∎ Assertive, persuasive and self-driven
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
∎ A confident personality with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Must have a clear understanding of Bank and financial institution
∎ Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
∎ Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity.
∎ Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values
∎ Good knowledge in economic and financial topics
