Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Facilitate and implement project activities at the union level in coordination with local stakeholders.
∎ Conduct community meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote gender equality and participation.
∎ Engage with union parishad members, community leaders, and women's groups to foster inclusive governance practices.
∎ Provide technical assistance to local bodies on gender-sensitive planning and policy formulation.
∎ Collect and analyze data on gender participation and project outcomes, and report findings to the Project Coordinator.
∎ Advocacy for women's rights and active involvement in local decision-making processes.
∎ Assist in developing communication materials and awareness campaigns on gender equality.
∎ Ensure timely reporting and documentation of project activities and progress.
∎ The position is for the ''Enhance Gender Equality through ensuring participation’’ project, funded by the NAGORIKATA CEF Fund. The Union Facilitator will play a critical role in promoting gender equality and enhancing community participation at the grassroots level. By acting as a bridge between the project team and local communities, the Union Facilitator will ensure the effective implementation of project activities, facilitate meaningful engagement with stakeholders, and drive initiatives that empower women and marginalized groups to take active roles in governance and decision-making processes.
∎ Duration: Initially 1 year with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
∎ Responsibilities:

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The total monthly salary will be Tk 19,782.00 plus 2 bonus, weekly 02 Holidays, phone allowance and travel allowance as per organizational policy.
