Education:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration
∎ Master’s degree from any recognized University in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field in the managing accounts/finance. Preference will be given obtained degree from public university.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure access to accounting software are controlled and password not shared with others.
∎ Ensure day to day transactions through accounting software
∎ Timely payments to SHARP employees as well as other stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, etc. with accuracy.
∎ Cash, assets and bank balances are reconciled with books of accounts.
∎ Payable and receivables are cleared /adjusted on time.
∎ To record and maintenance of books of accounts,
∎ To maintain cash transactions and prepare bank reconciliations for the projects;
∎ Provide financial information and data as and when required by the management or donor.
∎ To prepare the quarterly budget variance and analysis for projects under jurisdiction.
∎ Account’s Officer will prepare and review the Project’s budget to include both program and administrative costs.
∎ Review the summary of receivables payable balances on routine basis with the supervisor
∎ On a quarterly basis, prepare Management summary of finance (including budget variances and fund utilization statements) and Administration function for review in the SHARP management meetings.
∎ Ensure correct deduction of Tax and VAT as per GoB Rule and regulations
∎ Fulfill all NGOAB requirements such as provide answer against explanation regarding audit report, fund clearance, FD-6 etc.
∎ Assist Deputy Director and HR & Admin officer when required.
∎ Conduct the external audit of the projects.
∎ The position is for the ''Enhance Gender Equality through ensuring participation’’ project, funded by the NAGORIKATA CEF Fund. The Accounts Officer will ensure financial control through maintaining, recording and timely reporting of fund disposal of the organization. The role involves managing project finances, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes processing bills & vouchers related to the project. S/he will maintain the accounting software Tally/Troyee. Ensure compliance on VAT and TAX as per Govt rule.
∎ Duration: Initially 1 year with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.
∎ Responsibilities:

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The total monthly salary will be Tk 37,093.00 plus 2 bonus, weekly 02 Holidays, phone allowance and travel allowance as per organizational policy.
