∎ The ideal Project Coordinator is a self-starter and team player with sound judgment, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
∎ She/He excels in building relationships in diverse cultural settings, demonstrating adaptability, respect, and sensitivity to diversity. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage stress and ad-hoc changes are essential.
∎ She/He upholds integrity, align with SHARP’s values, and produce impactful reports and presentations.
∎ Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, along with flexibility to handle changes, perform under pressure, and adjust working hours.
∎ Integrity, alignment with SHARP’s values, and cultural and gender sensitivity are crucial for fostering inclusive collaboration.
∎ A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
∎ Working experience with national or international NGOs will be preferred.
∎ Must have a valid motorcycle driving license.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and oversee project plans, budgets and procurement with technical teams. Ensure smooth implementation, monitoring, and compliance with donor/internal requirements.
∎ Track and adjust budgets, generate reports, and coordinate donors for feedback.
∎ Build team capacity, uphold gender/diversity commitments, and engage experts on program issues.
∎ Provide technical leadership on gender equality, inclusion, and community empowerment, ensuring that best practices and evidence-based approaches guide project activities.
∎ Design and deliver technical training for project staff and target groups, focusing on gender- sensitive and inclusive development practices.
∎ Lead advocacy efforts to promote gender equality and community empowerment at the local and national levels, working with relevant stakeholders and influencers.
∎ Engage in policy dialogue with government officials and other stakeholders to influence policy changes that support gender and inclusive development.
∎ Build and maintain networks with national and international NGOs, advocacy groups, and donor agencies to strengthen the project's visibility and impact.
∎ Maintain project records, compile reports, and develop SBCC/IEC materials.
∎ Document field visits, case studies, and team management processes.
∎ The position is for the 'Enhance Gender Equality through ensuring participation’’ project, funded by the NAGORIKATA CEF Fund. The Project Coordinator will lead the comprehensive planning, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives aims to achieve climate justice and gender equality by increasing community participation. The project aligns with CEF’s objectives to amplify citizen voice and participation (especially for women, young people, and marginalized communities), foster dialogue between civil society and the Government of Bangladesh and promote gender equality (SDG 5) and stronger institutions (SDG 16).
∎ Duration: Initially 1 year with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The total monthly salary will be Tk 51,851.00 plus 2 bonus, weekly 02 Holidays, phone allowance and travel allowance as per organizational policy.
