Experience:
Master’s Degree, preferably in Education/Social Science/Development Studies/Business Management and other relevant faculties.
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in humanitarian setting, preferably in Education in Emergency (EiE), Child Protection, Health, Anticipatory Action program
Demonstrated expertise in consortium approach, management of consortium management unit or steering committee or working groups.
Demonstrated expertise in the DG ECHO funded narrative reporting and financial reporting is preferred
Possess advanced expertise in various areas, including partnership management, effective communication, project operations monitoring, budgeting, tracking project expenditures, procurement processes, and resource distribution.
Processing FD 6 & FD 7, ensuring that the project complies with governmental regulations and requirements.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Rohingya response situation and anticipatory actions in the hilly region within the country, including the complex dynamics at play in the refugee camps.
Be well-versed in the various channels of communication within the camps, serving different purposes, and have knowledge of Cox's Bazar thematic Sectors and the Rohingya Coordination Platform (RCT) operations.
Be well-informed about Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response.
Display proficiency in various information and communication technologies (ICT), including email communication, Microsoft Office suite, and skilled in analysis of Excel data/ data set , ensuring seamless digital operations.

The Opportunity
The Consortium Manager provides overall leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for the DG ECHO-funded SURAKKHA action, delivering integrated Education in Emergencies, Child Protection, Health in Cox’s Bazar, and Anticipatory Action interventions across, Chattogram, and Chattogram Hill Tracts.
As consortium lead, Save the Children is responsible for ensuring coherent, timely, and high-quality delivery across all partners, in line with donor requirements, SCI standards, and consortium commitments, while strengthening collaboration with Plan International and implementing partners. The role leads the Consortium Management Unit (CMU), ensuring coordinated planning, performance tracking, and delivery across sectors and locations, and acts as the central coordination point between SCI, partners, donors, and member offices.
The programme delivers integrated humanitarian assistance with protection at its core, ensuring safe and equitable access to services for Rohingya refugees and host communities in Cox’s Bazar, alongside anticipatory action interventions in Chattogram and the Chattogram Hill Tracts. The Consortium Manager ensures effective coordination, partner alignment, and delivery in line with programme and DG ECHO compliance expectations.
