Experience:
Masters in Engineering, Economics, Social Science, Legal Studies or any other closely related field.
Professional experience
5 years in relevant occupational experience with at least 3 years in project implementation
Experience with engaging directly with rightsholders, workers organizations or local communities.
Experience in communication with authorities or representing a company or organization to external stakeholders.
Other knowledge, additional competences
Expertise in strategic marketing and communications.
Ability to work well under pressure and a strong team player
Ability to work in an intercultural environment and be a strong team player in a diverse and interdisciplinary team
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, hands-on experience with digital data systems, and familiarity with various communication tools and modern IT systems.
Fluency in Bangla and English is essential.
Familiarity with development cooperation, bilateral or multilateral organizations.

GIZ Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of “Advisor- Organziational Development & Management’’ from candidates under 'Sustainability in the Textile Industry II (STILE II)' project of GIZ Bangladesh.
Contract Duration: Until February 2028.

Responsibilities
Managing an area of responsibility that forms part of the programme objectives, team agreements and/or agreements with the superior.
Assisting project/programme initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups.
Advise supervisor on all tasks when implementing GIZ rules and regulations.
Advise supervisor in the field of project planning, steering and monitoring.
Independently implement goals and requirements set by the line manager.
Make decisions which have a short-term effect within a limited project area/ unit.
Assist supervisor to identify day to day problem and suggest appropriate solution
The position holder is responsible for the following tasks:
B. Tasks
Manages implementation of activities related to an existing network of community level volunteers who are ready-made garments (RMG) workers.
Advises the preparation and thematic discussion of a steering committee composed of NGO/INGOs.
Supports the strengthening of referral services on Gender Based Violence and other discriminatory experience to legal aid, psychosocial support structures and other support measures.
Contributes and advise campaigns on social media and other channels on prevention and access to information.
Provides expert knowledge on changing or new regulatory elements related to “meaningful stakeholder/rightsholder consultation” in mandatory Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence.
Steers the implementation of organizational development of the referral services.
Documents the expenses, results and reporting inputs of activities towards the donor.
Connects with relevant stakeholders in the consolidation of an exit strategy that enables sustainable continuation of the work processes.
