Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Textiles or Merchandising from any reputed university.
∎ Any professional course/ diploma in similar profession will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Source materials and create strong supplier base to support the business growth.
∎ Negotiate prices of raw materials for cost effectiveness.
∎ Coordinate with Design team to develop trends research, gather market intelligent of trims and accessories and submit to Global Team to develop trims.
∎ Book trims, work closely with suppliers on the development & production status, ensure trims are in house on time with right quality.
∎ Arrange product testing and check approval against the required standards.
∎ Support Merchandising Teams with strong sourcing abilities of new trims & accessories for new developments and samples
∎ Other day to day duties as and when required

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in handling Trims & Accessories in any apparel brand/ retailer/ buying office/ renowned factory or supplier
∎ Should possess good knowledge of various Garment Trims and accessories
∎ The incumbent must be outspoken with strong interpersonal skill
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and deal with several issues at a time
∎ Must be well disciplined and a cohesive team player
∎ Must have good communication skills both spoken and written in English.
∎ Must have good knowledge of computer applications including MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, Internet etc.
