Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Higher School Degree from any reputed Institute.
∎ Any professional course/ diploma in Textiles will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ 1 positions for Sweater
∎ Job Location: Dhaka, with travel requirements to overseas and in country

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up to sampling programs to meet right quality sample on time.
∎ Review and approve samples to meet product specifications.
∎ Identify and resolve sample issues i.e. as workmanship and measurements etc.
∎ Explain Tom Tailor requirements and standards to factories.
∎ Collaborate with QC to visit factories to monitor production whenever required.
∎ Keep accurate records of submissions, results, actions and resolutions.
∎ Daily WIP updates of assigned categories.
∎ Provide technical advice and support to factories, buyers, merchant team members
∎ Risk analysis of product safety, special operations requirements and advise factories accordingly.
∎ Provide technical support to buyers to create/update blocks & maintain a block library.
∎ Give extraordinary attention to special customer and orders/ E-shop customer & NOS order sample.
∎ Proactively identify best practices, potential products, production and operational issues.
∎ Other day to day duties as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a Technical specialist in any apparel brand/ retailer/ buying office/ renowned factory
∎ Experience of Handling sales man samples and NOS samples is a must.
∎ Should possess strong knowledge on fitting, pattern, materials etc.
∎ Should have strong knowledge of product safety, quality testing, production process etc
∎ Having experience of 3D sampling will get preferences
∎ The incumbent must be outspoken with strong interpersonal skill
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and deal with several issues at a time
∎ Must be well disciplined and a cohesive team player
∎ Must have good communication skills both spoken and written in English.
∎ Strong knowledge of computer applications including CAD, MS Word, Excel etc.
