Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Bachelor's degree preferred.
∎ Proficiency in the latest GDS technology.
∎ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ticketing and Reservation roles
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work well under pressure.
∎ Proficiency in English and Bangla is required.
∎ Ability to use travel booking software and computer programs
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if required.
∎ Airline ticketing & reservation (Domestic, International), Creating PNR, Issuing and Reissuing tickets using GDS (Galileo, Saber & Amadeus), Fare computation, Processes cancellations, and modifications of reservations.
∎ Liaise with airlines and travel partners to secure the best travel options for the clients.
∎ Provide necessary support to Visa & Package tour.
∎ Dealing with customer complaints and requests and finding solutions as quickly as possible.
∎ Sorting out issues that may increase bookings or reservations.
∎ Increase sales by informing customers of additional services or special packages.
∎ Manage corporate clients through emails and other ways of communication.
∎ Must remain updated on Airline/ Travel notices and circulars and update the reservation team, sales team, and others accordingly.
∎ Any duties assigned by the Management.

∎ Role Description:
∎
∎ This is a full-time on-site job located in Dhaka for a Travel Reservation Officer. The Travel Reservation Officer will be responsible for coordinating, booking and confirmation of travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodation, tours, and transportation. As a Reservation Officer at Global Trade Link, your primary responsibility will be to manage flight reservations, assist clients with inquiries, and ensure the smooth planning and execution of their travel plans. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable journeys for the clients. The role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
