Responsibilities & Context:

Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC (A Concern of Unique Group) is seeking a Transport Desk Associate to join the Transport & Logistics team for The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka. If you have prior experience in the hospitality sector, especially in hotel operations, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

  • Monitor guest arrival and departure lists; report to the manager of transport & logistics.

  • Check the daily car booking log and reservations to ensure all guest transportation needs are met.

  • Inspect vehicle cleanliness and refreshment arrangements in compliance with Marriott brand standards.

  • Ensure drivers maintain proper grooming and attire as per hotel guidelines.

  • Receive and escort guests arriving from the airport via hotel vehicles to the reception.

  • Oversee maintenance, servicing, and documentation for all hotel vehicles.

  • Coordinate with workshops for repairs and servicing, and report updates to the Department Head.

  • Communicate effectively in English with in-house and external guests via email, phone, or in person regarding travel requirements.

  • Manage transport-related cashiering and billing through the Property Management System (PMS).

  • Prepare car servicing reports, identify issues, and report to the manager or maintenance team.

  • Schedule drivers and allocate vehicles for guest travel based on requirements.

  • Coordinate with the airport for arrival guest car arrangements in line with flight schedules.

  • Ensure proper duty handover with follow-up notes in the duty logbook.

  • Immediately report any service-related or vehicle issues to the manager of transport & logistics.
