Educational Requirements:
∎ B.SS. in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic or Telecommunication from any UGC approved university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Study local & international industry standard guidelines to set transmission strategy & architecture for Banglalink
∎ Analyze Transmission Network Master Plan, supervise and monitor the preparation of business plan and budget based on Bandwidth & Infrastructure requirement from all stakeholders (Radio, Core, IT, Marketing, Admin, wholesale business etc.)
∎ Study the evolution of different transmission equipment or new feature/solution and recommend for implementation based on network requirement
∎ Supervise & audit the Transmission Network Elements covering hardware, software, NMS and take proactive actions to keep network up-to date
∎ Identify and assess the nature of faults in the Transmission Network based on the alarms on different Network Management System terminals or notification from the Network Monitoring Center/Supervision & provide solution
∎ Supervise & recommend redundancy plans for the Transport Network using different protection schemes and provide recommendation ensuring CapEx & OpEx efficiency
∎ Ensure team is equipped with the requisite knowledge, identify training requirements to develop employees, manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, performance appraisal, continuous support and feedback
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7-8 years of relevant experience with 4-5 years in Managerial Role
∎ Strong Knowledge of GSM Technology & Architecture
∎ Thorough Knowledge of Transmission Design and Dimension
∎ Strong Knowledge of 3G Transmission and Architecture
∎ Basic Knowledge of IP Transmission and Architecture
∎ Sound Knowledge in 4G Transmission Design & Dimension
∎ Basic Knowledge of 5G Transmission and Architecture
∎ Sound knowledge of market/industry trends within Engineering context
∎ Sound grip on operations management
