∎ In depth Knowledge of 3G Transmission and Architecture
∎ Essential Knowledge of IP Transmission and Architecture
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Study the latest technology & make feasibility of implementing appropriate technology in the wireless network.
∎ Communicate with vendor about their new product/features in Hardware & software
∎ Prepare transmission solution for addition of any new network element covering 2G/3G/4G Single/Dual Carrier.
∎ Ensure necessary capacity in existing network.
∎ Analyze the Infrastructure sharing possibilities both as provider & seeker.
∎ Finalize the solution either in-house or through NTTN, Issue necessary WO and Follow-up & coordinate with stakeholders & among different units (AN, CN, NI, O&M & Vendors) to ensure on-time execution of rollout plans in his respective zone.
∎ Assist in preparation of the equipment dimensioning/BOQ as per capacity requirement during budget time in wireless domain.
∎ Plan and review vendor distribution and ordering sequence as per technical rollout plan and forward to TSM management.
∎ Ensure that transport network KPI’s in the Access (MW) domain are being met.
∎ Identify issues in the KPI’s and come up with solutions.
