Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepares the samples and makes the test which he is competent and records the results thereof.
- Follows up the calibration of devices which he is responsible for, records the failures and informs the failures to the person in charge of department.
- Works in compliance with management system and ISO 17025 rules.
- Works in compliance with the management system and keeps laboratory records (improper action, deviation from quality etc.)
- Attends to the works to obstruct the errors and failures found in the processes. Contributes for the determination of reasons which cause to failures and errors. Informs the errors and failures to the person in charge of department.
- When finds doubtful test results informs the situation to the person in charge of department and repeats the tests.
- Provides the cleaning and maintenance of devices which he is responsible for and record them.
- Follows the consumables which are under his responsibility, informs the deficiencies to the relevant unit and the person who is in charge of that department.
- Executes his duties and tests in compliance with environment, health, safety, Occupational Health and Safety, rules, procedure and regulations.
- Uses personal protective equipment as the work requires.
- Separates, classifies and stores the materials which are recyclable
- Separates hazardous and dangerous wastes from other materials in line with the directives given and takes measures within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety rules and stores them temporarily.
- Provides flammable and inflammable matters to be stored safely.
- Keeps the appropriate matter, equipment and hardware to be used against spill and leakages.
