Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in relevant subject from any approved educational institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ The recruitment will be done on a contract basis initially for 2 (Two) years and an extension of the contract/permanency for the incumbent will be decided by BdREN at the expiry of the project.
∎ Reporting: Network Engineer (NOC)/ Transmission.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically
∎ Operate test equipment, hand & power tools such as OTDR, splicing machine, optical power meter, GPS meter, OFC Crimping / Cutting Tool etc.
∎ Operate UTP Cable Tester, UTP Crimping and Cutting Tool.
∎ Have conversant about HDD Technology and finding faults in underground optical fiber cables and restoration of those faults.
∎ Coordinate and schedule work with vendors / Service Providers.
∎ Maintain strict compliance of SOP
∎ Carry out any other responsibilities which are to be given by the superiors in the interest of BdREN.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in operation & maintenance of optical fiber networks.
∎ Working experience in 19-University Campus Network project will be given preference.
∎ Ability to operate test equipment, hand & power tools such as OTDR, splicing machine, optical power meter, GPS meter, Crimping / Cutting Tool etc.
∎ Knowledge about HDD Technology and experience in finding faults in underground optical fiber cables and restoration of that fault.
∎ Age: Maximum 30 years (on the last date of submission of Application) having Bangladeshi nationality (the age limit may be relaxed upto 32 years for the experienced candidate).
Salary:
∎ Per month Consolidate Salary in BDT. 25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) only
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two festival bonuses (each equal to 60% of the monthly salary)
∎ Baishakhi Allowance (10% of the monthly salary)
∎ TA and DA as per BdREN rules
