Job Context:
∎ We are a technology startup to disrupt the local market with innovative ideas and tech solutions. We are seeking for a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team of software developers, who can guide and collaborate with the team.
∎ This position requires skills in planning, scheduling, and management of IT and IT-related projects. Individuals in this role must possess capabilities in project management, including excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Discuss potential projects and their parameters with clients, business analysts, executives, software developers and all other stakeholders.
∎ Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
∎ Assembling and leading the project team.
∎ Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
∎ Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
∎ Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
∎ Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion.
∎ Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
∎ Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products performance.
∎ Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Ability to adapt to the constantly changing context of a tech startup
Additional Requirements:
∎ The ability to make critical decisions, business scope identification and assessing viability of solutions.
∎ Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
∎ Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
∎ Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
∎ Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
∎ Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
∎ Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
∎ Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
∎ Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
∎ Strong communication skills in order to interface with customers and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
∎ Strong knowledge of project management practices.
∎ Good understanding of scrum framework.
∎ Creative, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset.
∎ An adaptable, iterative thinker who is constantly learning.
∎ Curious, innovative, and confident in your abilities to drive change.
∎ Professional certification e.g. CSM or PMP is preferred.
∎ Know how on Jira and confluence.
