Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team focused on full-stack JavaScript (React.js/Next.js frontend and Node.js/Express backend).
Oversee development workflows, version control, release cycles, and operational reliability of applications.
Monitor, maintain, and optimize application performance and database integrity (MySQL & MongoDB).
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Define and enforce engineering best practices (CI/CD, code reviews, testing, performance monitoring).
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks in both frontend and backend stacks.
Manage technical documentation, deployment pipelines, and server environments.
Coach and mentor developers; facilitate technical learning and career growth.
Collaborate with DevOps (if available) or manage basic infrastructure needs on your own (Docker, Nginx, AWS, etc.).
Define SLAs, KPIs, and OKRs for development teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
