Additional Job Requirements:

Basic knowledge of software applications, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and fundamental IT infrastructure concepts.

Basic understanding of antivirus software, data privacy, and cybersecurity best practices.

Working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Linux/Unix, Android, and iOS.

Strong troubleshooting skills for computers, office equipment, network devices, and power backup systems.

Customer-focused mindset with good communication, interpersonal, and knowledge-sharing skills.

Educational Requirements: Bachelors/ Diploma in CSE/ IT/ EEE or equivalent from any reputed educational institute.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Job Purpose: Provide reliable software, hardware, and network support to Microfinance field offices, ensuring uninterrupted IT services through timely technical assistance, preventive maintenance, and effective coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic software, hardware, and network support to assigned Microfinance Programme field offices.

• Visit field offices regularly to perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve first-level issues related to software applications and internet connectivity.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT devices.

• Assist in setting up and maintaining network devices, including routers, switches, modems, and access points.

• Check and maintain power backup equipment such as UPS and AVR to ensure smooth operations.

• Report hardware faults and assist in replacing damaged devices or spare parts when required.

• Coordinate with vendors and the internal IT team to resolve technical issues and warranty-related matters.

• Support the implementation of technology-related projects and other assigned IT activities.

• Maintain service records and provide technical assistance to field office staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
