Job Purpose: The Deputy Manager, Solution Designer is responsible for designing user-centric digital solutions by aligning user needs with business objectives. The role develops wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications to enhance user experience and delivery effectiveness. It collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. The role drives digital adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes through effective design practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, contextual inquiries, and usability testing, to identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Analyze and synthesize research findings to generate actionable insights and recommend user-centered design solutions that support business objectives.
Design and develop mid- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools to validate design concepts.
Review, refine, and iterate design solutions based on stakeholder feedback, usability testing outcomes, and evolving product requirements.
Design responsive and accessible user interfaces that deliver a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
Create and maintain detailed UI specifications, including layouts, typography, color systems, spacing, interaction patterns, and component behaviors to ensure accurate implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to deliver intuitive, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions.
Ensure consistency with design standards, usability principles, and organizational design guidelines across all digital products.
Support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating user feedback, industry trends, and emerging design best practices.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
