Job Purpose: The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of financial applications and microfinance ERP modules to align technical deployment with core business objectives. This role orchestrates requirement gathering, prioritizes change requests, and leads user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure stable, high-quality product launches. Acting as a critical bridge between cross-functional stakeholders, operations, and external vendors, the Manager ensures all project lifecycles are executed efficiently within defined budgets, compliance frameworks, and SLA targets to drive continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders; analyze, translate, and document comprehensive business requirements specifications (BRS) in strict alignment with the financial application’s architecture, design policies, and compliance procedures.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to manage expectations, reconcile conflicting requirements, and ensure a unified understanding of project specifications among business, operations, and technical teams.
Evaluate, negotiate, and prioritize Change Requests (CRs) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors, balancing business value, operational urgency, and program strategic needs.
Drive the development, implementation, and deployment lifecycles of new financial products and services; conduct regular progress follow-ups with technical teams and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
Establish frameworks for, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with relevant business units to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and functional specifications prior to production deployment.
Engage with the Operations team post-deployment to capture user feedback, monitor product performance, and participate in field visits to assess real-world application usability and identify areas for optimization.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and distribution of comprehensive product documentation, user manuals, strategy frameworks, and compliance guidelines to foster institutional knowledge sharing.
Assist senior leadership in defining the product strategy, deployment platforms, and technical architecture for microfinance and core banking ERP modules.
Ensure all project deliverables comply with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), budgetary constraints, and key performance indicators (KPIs); manage risk escalation and problem-resolution processes effectively
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
