Job Context: A fast-growing IoT company in the senior-safety space (wireless sensor devices)

is hiring a Senior Integration Engineer to own the connections between our real-time device

platform and large enterprise partner systems across the US, UK, Canada and Australia. This is

the deal-critical role: our biggest partners go live only when these integrations ship correctly and

on time. You'll own integration delivery end-to-end on live, contracted deployments with hard

deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

● Own third-party integrations into enterprise emergency-response and monitoring

platforms — signalling protocols, XML/SOAP and REST message formats,

webhook/callback flows, and message queues

● Build and maintain the real-time alert pipeline: device event processing→ →

partner system response centre, with confirmation/validation logic→

● Map and implement to partner-specific protocol specs (each partner differs — you'll read

their spec, ask the right questions, and deliver against it)

● Design event-driven services and reliable queue-based messaging (RabbitMQ / Kafka /

SQS)

● Integrate a device-SDK data source (sensor telemetry) into the platform pipeline

● Handle idempotency, retries, failure modes, and observability — these are life-safety

signals; missed/duplicate events are not acceptable
