Additional Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Microfinance ERP systems, including accounting, credit, savings, and financial workflows (e.g., Mifos, Temenos T24, Musoni, or similar platforms).

Good understanding of IT project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).

Knowledge of UAT, release management, defect tracking, and software quality assurance.

Familiarity with microfinance regulations, data privacy, financial risk management, and accounting principles.

Ability to translate business requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.

Strong project, vendor, SLA, timeline, and budget management skills.

Ability to analyze system performance and operational data to drive continuous improvement.

Experience prioritizing change requests based on business value and technical feasibility.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

User-focused mindset with the ability to convert feedback into practical system enhancements.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensure system stability, and resolve critical issues under pressure.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's in CSE/ EEE or equivalent from any reputed educational institute.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with hands-on experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Software Development/ Financial Applications/ Core Banking or Insurance systems.

Job Purpose: The role will be responsible for driving the strategic execution, delivery, and continuous optimization of core microfinance ERP ecosystems. Operating as a critical bridge between business strategy and technical development, this role maximizes return on technology investments by aligning diverse stakeholder expectations, prioritizing high-impact change requests, and enforcing strict vendor governance. By ensuring robust UAT quality standards and accelerating product time-to-market within budget and SLA constraints, the Manager safeguards operational stability while empowering field operations with seamless, compliant digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end requirement-gathering initiatives by engaging key stakeholders, analyzing complex business needs, and translating them into technical specifications aligned with Core Banking/Microfinance ERP architecture, organizational policies, and compliance standards.

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams (including Business, IT, Operations, and Vendors) to harmonize stakeholder expectations during the analysis, scoping, and specification phases.

  • Drive the evaluation, prioritization, and roadmapping of Change Requests (CRs) in alignment with strategic business objectives, operational impacts, and vendor capacities.

  • Oversee and accelerate the timely development, deployment, and release of new financial products, features, and services within the ERP platform ecosystem.

  • Define frameworks for and direct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) workflows to validate product quality, mitigate deployment risks, and ensure production readiness.

  • Partner with operations teams post-release to monitor application performance, gather user feedback, and conduct field visits to identify opportunities for continuous platform improvement.

  • Supervise the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of comprehensive technical and user documentation, ensuring all application features reflect current policies, workflows, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Actively contribute to long-term product strategy, platform management frameworks, and enterprise system architecture decisions for all core financial applications.

  • Monitor operational KPIs, manage budgetary constraints, enforce strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors, and establish robust risk escalation and issue resolution workflows.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
