Education:

Post-graduation in education or any discipline with B.Ed. /M.Ed. and the more experienced candidate, who has been working for 3 more years in the camp for humanitarian response in an education will be preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field.

 Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in NGOs or other Development Organizations.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla & English.

 Knowledge of the local language will be an asset.

 Camp-level working experience will be highly preferred.

 Basic computer skills in MS Office.

 Having a valid motorcycle-driving license will get preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement BG_Peer Education Project (PEP) Phase- 4 supported by Save the Children. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff for this leadership position from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.

Job Responsibilities:

 Have to ensure cooperation and strong liaison with CIC, Site Management, Majhi, and other Actors for implementing the Program in camp

 Participate in designing and implementation of education assessments (i.e. teachers training needs, learners' participation, home-based learning Centre management, parent/community involvement in education, etc.)

 Participate in designing training programs based on needs assessments.

 Participate in the development of the training module.

 Conduct teachers' training in collaboration with donor and local administration and provide technical capacity building of Teachers and Program Organizers.

 Assist the Project Coordinator in organizing and delivering training and workshops.

 Assess teachers' performance through observation, class visits, spot checks, and reviews of the lesson plan.

 Review of curriculum, objectives, scope, and sequence.

 Attend all workshops and training organized for teachers and staff.

 Coordinate and follow up on teaching materials.

 Ensure integration of program approach with other sectors.

 Support the development of MEAL tools and systems to measure and analyze learning outcomes.

 Support in creating and reviewing tests and assessment tools.

 Report on activities and results in POs and relevant staff when required.

 Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, Money laundering, Whistle Blowing and other Policies.



Job Other Benifits:

    Tk. 62,000 per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
