Job Responsibilities:
∎ Run a large Sample room catering to multiple buyers smoothly.
∎ Must be able to read and understand tech packs of various buyers in order to provide accurate material usage (fabric & trims) for costing/order booking to the marketing & merchandising team.
∎ Prepare pattern as per various buyer tech packs/specification sheets using CAD in a timely manner.
∎ Must deliver all samples (Development/SMS and approval) in a timely manner.
∎ Understand buyer comments and make necessary changes to initial samples so that all samples pass at one shot.
∎ Must be able to hire and manage top preforming sample man in order to meet all buyer requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Computer literacy is a must especially in CAD Technology (OPTITEX/ GT CAD/ EURO CAD).
∎ Strong Knowledge of pattern grading, CAD marker, fabric construction, fabric quality, garment testing, seam strength & shrinkage performance etc.
∎ Have proven track record of handling high end buyer such as PvH/Adidas/Puma/Nike.
∎ Must be adjustable with factory environment.
∎ Ability to work independently and under time pressure.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the area of CAD, Pattern Making, Efficient Marker making, Pattern Grading, Production Management (Sewing) and Fabric cutting.
∎ Capable in making communications independently through E-mail with buyers.
∎ Must have worked with foreign buyer's offices.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to deal with management.
∎ Good Commands in English speaking, writing & listening.
