Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc or Diploma in Laboratory Technology

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collects sample and performs lab test maintaining standard and proper documentation.
∎ Take responsibility for inpatients/ emergency patients to perform any lab test after hours and on weekends (or whenever necessary) when required.
∎ Be alert and inform the Medical Officer and/or concerned team of any notifiable diseases, outbreaks, or other health hazards
∎ Maintain proper register for reagent/ logistics and raise requisition for these.
∎ Ensure timely and correctly reporting of all activities.
∎ Submits requirement of reagents and support in the procurement process.
∎ Properly maintains IPC in the laboratory.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years working experience in lab in clinic/diagnostic lab or NGO
∎ Sound knowledge on laboratory technology
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Sample collection skill
∎ Trouble shooting of lab equipment's.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religion.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, be flexible in challenging situation.
