Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate the development of production-grade software that is modular, reusable, scalable, and highly functioning.
∎ Manage a team of senior developers on both the frontend (ReactJS) and backend (Django).
∎ Determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints against requirements.
∎ Lead agile SCRUMs and coordinate between engineers and management to ensure that features are delivered on time and with minimal bugs.
∎ Collaborate with other technology team members on solution design.
∎ Uphold strong code quality and style standards through regular code reviews and TDD.
∎ Select new technologies/languages/tools/frameworks.
∎ Perform debugging , tech debt resolution, and continuous code quality improvement.
∎ Mentoring/pair programming/leadership (depending on seniority level).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1 year MIN experience as a tech lead with strong experience coordinating projects in an agile environment with both frontend and backend engineers.
∎ Having 3 years of experience working on a project for a foreign client.
∎ Strong Django experience across multiple projects w/ core emphasis on DRF, Celery.
∎ A firm understanding of frontend development in ANY framework.
∎ Strong TDD discipline and experience with Python UnitTest and other key testing frameworks.
∎ Have built several Web applications, especially REST API s and applications involving batch processing and messaging queue systems ( RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, Kafka , etc.)
∎ Strong SQL experience with any common relational database.
∎ Experience implementing standard authentication systems (e.g. OAuth ) and have a firm understanding of how authentication and authorization work in modern web applications.
∎ Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams, and strong JIRA and sprint management capabilities MUST.
∎ Be extremely comfortable working with version control and branching (e.g. Git).
∎ Comfortable with systems that scale horizontally (e.g. Kubernetes, GKE, load balancing, concurrency).
∎ Fluency in writing and speaking in English is a must.
