Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To lead the Project team in order to achieve the organizational vision, mission and program objectives.
∎ To enhance professional, spiritual and conceptual of Project team members and ensure on-going coaching for performance.
∎ To ensure timely and proper implementation of plan, project deliverable in line with WV policies and standards.
∎ To ensure high standard of stewardship in resource mobilization, allocation, utilization in compliance with WV Financial Policies and procedures.
∎ To establish and strengthen network with government, non-government organizations, CBOs, Churches and Faith Based Organizations.
∎ To ensure effective communication system in Upazila Program that ensures timely flow of information among AP Office, CO & National Office·
∎ To build community capacity for their sustainability.
∎ To implement project activities in coordination with GOs, NGOs and Partners.
∎ To ensure shared project or outcome-based financing project with other partners.
∎ To enhance community led & participatory monitoring for their own development.
∎ World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) is gearing up for an exciting initiative, the EARN project, aimed at enhancing access to education and relevant skills development opportunities for NEET youth in the Rangpur division. This significant endeavour will be undertaken in joint venture with UCEP, focusing on a broad range of activities including community engagement, socio-emotional training, and direct employment support for the youth. The project is poised to make a substantial impact on the local community by fostering inclusion, supporting gender and social norms, and improving childcare facilities in VLTCs to facilitate greater participation in WVB's programs.
∎ The purpose of this position is to provide overall leadership and coordination of the project.
∎ Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project. Bangladeshi national candidates and females are highly encouraged to apply. The anticipated duration of the contract will be 48 months from the date of joining.
∎ Key Deliverables: The Team Leader will provide overall leadership and technical support to the program team. He/she will manage strategic connections with government entities, partners, and internal stakeholders, crafting high-quality programming and fostering robust relationships. He/she will support developing strategic objectives and work plans for the unit through the active participation of the team members. Moreover, he/she will ensure efficient monitoring systems and sound financial management, demonstrating cost-effectiveness to donors and management.
