Experience:
Master's or PhD in health informatics, digital health, or data science.
Certifications in Agile product management (like CSPO) or health data standards (like HL7/FHIR) are a strong plus.
Ability to design and connect health ecosystems, not just applications.
Agile product ownership and a feel for building healthcare markets.
Hands-on skill in building data and Al pipelines.
Deep understanding of global digital health and how technology creates healthcare markets.
Minimum 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in public health, health systems strengthening, healthcare management, or digital health programming.
Demonstrated experience working across multiple health platforms such as community programmes, healthcare facilities, hospitals, or social enterprises.
Proven experience in designing or integrating technology-enabled health solutions within health programmes or service delivery systems.
Ability to translate technical and digital concepts into practical implementation approaches
Sound knowledge of digital health ecosystems and technology-enabled health solutions.

The Health Technology Specialist will help SAJIDA shift from a service-delivery organisation to a technology-driven, system-strengthening, market-ready health ecosystem. S/He will provide the technical leadership needed to make health data flow across systems, manage that data well, and get new ideas adopted at the grassroots.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic and Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership across SAJIDA Foundation's health portfolio, including Development Programmes, Enterprises, and Hospital services.
Support strategic planning, programme design, and development of integrated health models aligned with organisational priorities and national health strategies.
Ensure programmes and health initiatives are evidence-based, operationally feasible, ethically delivered, and designed for sustainable scale and impact.
Provide technical guidance on public health systems strengthening, service delivery models, quality improvement, and continuity of care approaches.
Advise senior management on emerging public health priorities, health technologies, implementation strategies, and innovation opportunities.
2. Technology and Digital Health Services
Lead the integration of open-source, connectable digital health tools. Avoid building yet another parallel, siloed system.
Deploy Al tools that work in low-resource settings-things like risk triage, clinical decision support, and workflow automation that real communities can use.
Own the product. Work directly with tech teams, developers, and clinicians to create scalable solutions that match the actual environment.
Shape digital health strategies, run innovation pilots, and package them into frameworks ready for the market.
3. Technical Quality and Strategic Programme Development
Ensure every health initiative meets international standards for technical quality and data implementation.
Strengthen technical quality and implementation standards across health initiatives.
Promote data-driven decision-making and use of evidence to improve program performance and service delivery.
Identify implementation gaps and provide technical recommendations for programme and systems improvement.
Support evidence synthesis, technical reviews, and development of public health positioning documents.
Contribute to organisational thought leadership on public health systems, digital health, urban health, and innovation.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
Maintain effective coordination with government authorities, hospitals, development partners, academic institutions, private sector actors, and technology partners.
Represent SAJIDA Foundation in technical forums, working groups, consultations, and external engagements.
Support development of strategic partnerships related to digital health, innovation, public health systems, and implementation research.
5. Capacity Building and Organisational Support
Mentor and provide technical guidance to programme teams, clinical teams, and implementation staff.
Support organisational learning and capacity strengthening related to public health systems, digital health, and evidence-based programming.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing, technical learning sessions, and documentation of innovations and best practices.
