Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in GBV prevention, women’s rights, or humanitarian programming.
Proven experience in coordination with government ministries, UN agencies, NGOs, and CSOs.
Strong skills in facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English.
Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
Desired Competencies
Demonstrated commitment to women’s rights and feminist approaches.
Experience in digital platform development or toolkit design is an advantage.

About the Project
Unnayan Sangha (US), in collaboration with UNFPA and the Global Women’s Institute (GWI) of George Washington University, is implementing an ECHO-funded pilot project aimed at preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH) in humanitarian settings. The initiative seeks to catalyze a paradigm shift in the humanitarian system from reactive, compliance-driven approaches to proactive, prevention-oriented frameworks fostering safer environments for aid workers and affected populations.
Project Title: Stopping Harm Before It Happens: A Knowledge Platform for SEAH Prevention Practices
Location: Based in Jamalpur and other project location (Selected districts)

Contract duration: Initially 6 Month, renewable based on performance and project continuation.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
Leading project implementation in coordination with UNFPA, GWI, and national stakeholders.
Organizing co-design workshops with stakeholders in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar.
Facilitating community consultations to contextualize SEAH prevention toolkits in selected districts.
Coordinating with national GBV cluster and district-level GBV coordination meetings.
Supporting the design and testing of digital platforms and toolkits.
Documenting lessons learned, preparing learning briefs, and contributing to national/global learning events.
Developing IEC/SBCC materials and facilitating awareness campaigns and community dialogues.
Ensuring effective monitoring, documentation, and reporting of project activities.
