Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QC team in all daily quality control activities.
Plan, conduct, and oversee Pre-Production Meetings (PPM), inline inspections, and pre-final inspections.
Conduct weekly skill assessments and performance evaluations of the QC team.
Monitor and review team KPIs weekly to drive continuous improvement.
Provide prompt and effective solutions to resolve production or quality issues.
Quality Control & Audits:
Possess a strong understanding of end-to-end garment quality control processes.
Conduct PPM, inline audits, and pre-final audits with accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure full understanding and practical implementation of AQL standards.
Maintain and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Maintain all daily documentation, including WIP reports, audit findings, pre-final results, and KPI logs.
Analyze quality metrics such as DHU%, inspection pass/fail rates, and defect trends.
Drive root cause analysis and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Ensure timely shipments that meet both quality and quantity standards.
Communication & Coordination:
Coordinate effectively with merchandisers, buyers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth quality operations.
Ensure CAPs are regularly updated and aligned with buyer-specific standards.
Build and lead inspection and production teams with clear workflow direction.
Conduct staff performance reviews and capability assessments.
Develop and deliver training and quality awareness programs.
Support and enhance QMS initiatives across all production facilities as per buyer requirements.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of garment patterns, machinery types, and stitching classifications.
Provide technical input and troubleshooting support for quality and production challenges.
Communication & System Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficient in email correspondence and standard computer applications (MS Office, Excel, reporting tools, etc.).
