Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior management to establish long-term maintenance plans and budgets.
Machine Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans for all knitting, linking, cutting, sewing, finishing, and utility equipment.
Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick restoration during breakdowns.
Establish spare parts planning and inventory control to avoid production disruptions.
Work closely with Production and IE teams to ensure smooth machine availability aligned with production schedules.
Support line balancing, machine changeovers, and new style setups.
Ensure proper calibration and performance optimization of machines.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for recurring issues.
Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Lean, and Kaizen practices.
Recommend upgrades, retrofits, and automation to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Track KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, downtime, and maintenance cost.
Building Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all buildings, infrastructure, and facilities.
Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of buildings.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
Utility Maintenance:
Lead end-to-end maintenance of building utilities and production machinery (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, water, and manufacturing equipment), ensuring uninterrupted operations, high uptime, and rapid breakdown response.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance, coordinate with production to minimize downtime, and drive energy efficiency and cost optimization through effective utility monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support.
Allocate resources effectively and optimize workforce productivity.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to obtain competitive pricing.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
