Context:

We are a 100% export oriented Garment Manufacturer, looking for dynamic and highly professional person for the post of "GM- IE & Planning". He will be responsible for managing overall IE & Planning related operational activities of the factory which located in Zirani Bazar, BKSP, Gazipur. The incumbent must be energetic & possess an enthusiastic personality with self-driven competency for taking challenges.

Job Description:

• Design production planning and Monitoring whole process & operation.

• Coordinate all stakeholders in operations of the approved idea and its benefits and review back-to-back feeding plan with planning, operation and IE team.

• Order allocation in sewing lines based on SMV on a regular basis. Prepare Time and Action Plan.

• Prepare daily, monthly production MIS & efficiency report, machine break down report etc.

• Analyze production reports to understand gaps in manufacturing process, causes of delays and areas of concerns.

• Make the production feasibility plan by analyzing the productivity of the factory, number of sewing lines and capacity estimation for development of new styles based on garment sketch or samples .

• Develop capacity plans based on types of products included in the forecast, machine and operator capacity; share with planning team and operations team.

• Prepare budgets and costing for resources required for production; share with operations team, account management team and planning team.

• Monitor line wise production report by hourly output basis.

• Ensure line balancing as per layout, time and motion study for all styles.

• Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination.

• Research and explore new machinery and the latest systems that meet the company's long-term goals and preparing cost benefits analyses and ROI for the same.

• Calculate & Analysis non-productive time, reduce defects and wastage, garments manufacturing process breakdown, perfect machine layout.
