Job Responsibilities:
∎ System Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and architect IT systems that meet the organization's needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
∎ System Implementation: Deploy and configure server hardware, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and software applications.
∎ Infrastructure Management: Monitor and manage server and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
∎ Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance and resource utilization.
∎ Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard data and systems.
∎ Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
∎ Patch Management: Manage software updates, patches, and vulnerability assessments to keep systems up to date and secure.
∎ Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
∎ Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
∎ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and network engineers, to support IT initiatives and projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
∎ Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.
∎ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
∎ Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
∎ Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
∎ Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are a plus.
