  • Self-learning mindset, good communication skills in English, and willingness to work in the Japanese ICT market.

  • Genuine desire to build a long-term career in Japan’s IT sector.



Responsibilities & Context:

B-JET: “Bangladesh-Japan ICT Engineers’ Training Program” implemented within the JICA technical cooperation project, established by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) in 2017. The program has produced over 400 graduates, with approximately 250 alumni successfully hired by more than 80 leading Japanese companies.

The program is now jointly operated by Shinko Shuppansha Keirinkan — a leading Japanese educational publisher — and North South University (NSU), the premier university in Bangladesh. Training is conducted at the dedicated B-JET Centre within the NSU campus. Graduates from all universities across Bangladesh are welcome to apply.

The 16th Batch of B-JET offers passionate engineers a unique opportunity to learn Japanese language, culture, and business etiquette alongside advanced IT training — opening doors to career opportunities in Japan’s thriving tech industry.

Class Contents:

Nihongo (Japanese Language) Class: The Nihongo classes are designed to teach trainees basic Japanese and help them effectively communicate with Japanese people for working in Japan’s IT sector. Trainees receive guidance to attempt JLPT N5 and N4 level exams, aiming for N3 level, conducted by experienced Japanese language instructors.

IT Project Management & Teamwork in Japanese business settings

Business Communication and Interview Preparation

Responsibility:

  • Regularly participate in all training sessions.

  • Demonstrate dedication and an adaptive mindset to learn the Japanese language and corporate culture.

  • Maintain a proactive attitude toward learning.

  • Strictly adhere to the training schedule throughout the program.

Training Schedule:

Training Duration: Approximately 6 months (100 days), full-time hybrid program
Days: Monday to Friday of every week
Format: Full-time, in-person at B-JET Centre, NSU
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Program Start: October 2026
Program End: March 2027
Location: B-JET Centre, North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh

Note: Participation in face-to-face is mandatory. Students are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses.

Selection Process:

Step 1 – Application Submission: Submit your online application via the registration form.

Step 2 – Initial Application Review: Submitted applications are reviewed; shortlisted candidates will be notified by email.

Step 3 – Coding Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online coding test (anti-cheating tab/screen restrictions apply).

Step 4 – AI Skills Interview: Candidates who pass the coding test will proceed to an AI-powered skills interview.

Step 5 – Japanese Language Test & General Interview: Candidates who pass the AI interview will be invited to a Japanese Language Test and General Interview.

Step 6 – Ideathon: Final-stage candidates will be required to submit an innovative project idea with a demo video.
