- Expertise in Windows System Administration, Linux System Administration and Database Administration
- RHCE & RHCA certification will be an added advantage·
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Server & Cloud Management
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Radius, Log, and DNS servers
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of all NMS servers
Windows and Linux system administration
Ceph and TrueNAS storage management
OpenStack and Proxmox cloud management
Virtualization system management (KVM/XenServer/Container)
2. NMS System Management
Implementation and operation of existing and new NMS tools (Grafana, Kafka, Kibana, Prometheus, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, LibreNMS, etc.)
Regular maintenance of existing NMS systems
3. Security Management
Ensuring server and system security
4. Research & Development
Testing upcoming operating systems
Installing and testing new versions of DBMS as per user requirements
5. Database Management & Backup
Managing databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Ensuring storage, archiving, and daily system backups
Maintaining regular NMS system backups
