Job Context:
∎ PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
∎ System Administrators are back-end IT professionals that install, configure, and maintain an enterprise`s Windows and Linux system environment. Tasks related to server-side operations and troubleshooting that support crucial business growth activities are part of this role. Through deployment and regular use, they also regulate user access, keep an eye on the reliability of the system, and guarantee security. This position may involve a high level of risk assessment and user support and requires substantial expertise with Linux/Windows systems and servers. To deploy and implement system improvements, the administrator is also required to constantly engage with other developers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designs, installs, configures and maintain the enterprise infrastructure to meet the organization goals.
∎ Provide engineering support for system infrastructure for new projects & deployments. Engagement to assist initiatives, including setup, coordinating, planning, and execution within the set timeframes.
∎ Install databases, take backups, assist in DB clustering and tuning DB servers.
∎ Ensure that the decommissioning of outdated equipment and the deployment of new infrastructure are properly documented.
∎ Overseeing routine system administration and keeping an eye on server infrastructure. Support the infrastructure's operation on a 24/7 basis. Determine the causes of system performance difficulties, and oversee the creation and effective application of technologies to address these issues.
∎ Ensure that change management policies, configuration management oversight, and standard operating procedures are followed.
∎ Support the Data Center operations and 24x7 activities while maintaining the appropriate SLA.
∎ Establish and develop strong bonds with internal clients and encourage and inspire change. offers knowledge in departmental and cross-functional cooperation.
∎ Interfacing with service partners and maintenance sources; quality control for externally provided services. Coordination with vendor technicians.
∎ Exhibit strong analytical abilities to analyze error logs, system performance data, and user data to guarantee a high level of dependability and usefulness.
∎ Conduct system backups according to company or industry standards.
∎ Practical experience setting up, managing, and troubleshooting servers, primarily in the areas of Windows/Linux system administration, web hosting infrastructure, backup, email server management, Active Directory infrastructure, etc.
∎ Take the required precautions for information security proactively. Recognize best practices and methods for preserving and enhancing information security.
∎ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Experience in VAPT.
∎ Experience with Jira & Confluence
∎ Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and querying databases.
∎ Solid infrastructure skills: Windows Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, AD, LAN, VPN
∎ Experience of building workflows and scripting
∎ Knowledge of Webservice APIs
∎ Understanding of Broadcast operation and automation schedules
∎ Experience in capital market and/or financial institutes will give advantages for the post.
∎ Professional certifications in the relevant area will get preference.
∎ Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Dependable and flexible team player.
∎ Able to work under pressure and alignment with company rules & regulations.
