Educational Requirements:
∎ Textile or fashion graduate from a reputed university (BUFT, NIFT, DIFT, BUTEX, SMUCT, Pearl Fashion Institute)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Research Trends and create Moodboards and innovative presentations
∎ Prior to any customer visit, study customer background, trends, quality requirements, price point etc. accordingly and prepare the presentation during customer visit
∎ Develop ZXY seasonal collection as well as Buyer specific range every season, and also do regular update of the products based on the trends, requirements and price points
∎ Execute and follow up on developments
∎ Provide graphics and CAD development/support for new and existing customers
∎ Working with product Developer to source new yarns, update stitch library, source new washes
∎ Immediate design and sampling on new requirements from customers and create range based on the Customer's Trendboards
∎ Make regular factory visits to source new samples based on our customer handwriting
∎ Maintain database of all the new products developed and sourced
∎ Ensure proper approval of the yarn, knitting, styling, details, fit and the final garment
∎ Monitor sample execution closely
∎ Choose the right yarns and trims for the developments.
∎ Work closely with sampling/factory and guiding the sweater technician and programmer to develop the correct sample
∎ Conduct risk analysis during development
∎ Prepare sample plan based on priority and availability
∎ Send buyers new yarns, stitches and products regularly
∎ Prepare proper tech packs for Developments along with specs
∎ Continuously source new yarns / stitches, washing techniques & trims for new developments and samples

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' work experience as Knitwear designer specially with a factory or buying office
∎ In-depth knowledge of yarns and stitches.
∎ In-depth knowledge and work experience on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
∎ Must have extensive experience of product development, accessories, costing and execution of techpacks independently
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines
