Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or similar.
2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Change Management or Relationship Management or equivalent experience.
Experience working with national manufacturer/distributor in key supply chain topics like Demand, inventory, distribution, and production is strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptability to new systems.
Must be detail-oriented as well as capable of leading broad overview/scenario discussions and capable of producing high-quality information on a sustainable basis; strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-tasking a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required.
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
To plan and manage the supply and demand planning activities
Generate an MPS (Demand) on a weekly basis.
Communicate MPS (Demand) to ODM Partners.
Coordinate the MPS response (Supply) from ODM Partners
Identify Gaps in Demand V Supply availability, push to close the gap.
Drive Materials Clear to Build (MCTB) process with ODM, identify gaps, push to resolve.
Drive closure of “All” Demand-Supply gaps.
Ensure ODMs have available capacity to support MPS plans.
Drive product ramp requirements to ensure all product intro dates are met
Drive product ramps down/transition plans to ensure excess and obsolescence are minimized.
Track Business on the Books (BOB) – Bookings, Billings, and Backlog- Drive Bookings and billings.
Monitor demands and customer profiles decide on appropriate business models – Build to replenishment, built to Forecast, build to Order models.
Responsible for Working Capital Management.
Responsible for tracking customer Orders - On Time in Full (OTIF).
Maintain ODM shipment plan (timing, ship-to location, and quantities)
Ensure all Logistics (DG and otherwise), process, procurement processes are in place to deliver effectively to end customer.
Manage consigned inventory processes/ PO processes.
Key Deliverables
Generate and Publish Weekly Demand Forecast / (& Waterfall Chart)
Generate and Publish Daily Bookings, Billings, and Backlog file
Facilitate weekly cadence of meetings with ODMs to ensure supply plans and shipping plans are in sync with the latest changes.
Facilitate weekly cadence of meetings with IE business units to ensure changes to forecasts are Understood, explain potential liabilities, etc.
Publish BOB- Bookings, Billings and Backlog Report daily, identify actions to support billings.
Publish on time in Full reports (OTIF) for customer orders
Work closely with NPO manager on phase in and phase-out of products
Quarterly business reviews/process and supply chain audits with business unit to identify solution gaps that need to be closed.
Push to close gaps with appropriate business owners.
