∎ Previous experience in freight, logistics, or invoice processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Context:

∎ Match freight invoices to agreed tariffs, ensuring that charges align with the contracts.
∎ Ensure accuracy in billing by cross-referencing invoices against service agreements and shipment details.
∎ Maintain compliance with internal policies and industry regulations regarding freight invoicing.
∎ 2. Report Preparation:
∎ Compile and analyze data related to freight costs and service performance.
∎ Prepare detailed and summary reports highlighting key metrics for management, including discrepancies and compliance rates.
∎ Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing relevant freight cost insights.
∎ 3. Data Management:
∎ Maintain organized records of freight budget, invoices, payments, and related documentation.
∎ Update databases and spreadsheets with accurate information related to freight charges and validations.
∎ 4. Communication:
∎ Liaise with service providers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify billing issues.
∎ Provide timely updates to management regarding invoice processing and validation results.
