POSITION SUMMARY:

The Chef / Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of meals for employees and management within the organization. The role requires expertise in Bangla, Chinese and Thai cuisine, ensuring high-quality food preparation, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations in an industrial or corporate environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook Bangla, Chinese and Thai dishes for employees and management.

• Ensure food quality, taste and presentation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.

• Manage food ingredients, stock and kitchen supplies.

• Ensure proper food storage and safety practices.

• Coordinate with management regarding menu planning and meal schedules.

• Supervise kitchen assistants if required.

• Strong knowledge of different kind of foods such Bangla, Chinese and Thai food preparation.

• Ability to cook for large numbers of people in an industrial environment.

• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety and kitchen sanitation standards.

• Ability to manage kitchen inventory, ingredients and food storage.

• Skill in menu planning and food presentation.

• Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality of food.

• Good time management and teamwork skills

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Masters/ Hon’s, Diploma or training in Culinary Arts / Professional Cooking / Food Preparation from a recognised institute.

• Professional culinary certification will be an added advantage
